Band Biographies

Cherilyn - Lead Vocals

Cherilyn grew up to the sound of her Father's band practicing in the basement and a love of old Soul and Blues music- ordering Otis Redding cassette tapes out of the back of the TV Guide at 8 years old. She didn't find her voice however until later in life and has performed in local cover bands like: 305, Four Dogs Playing Poker, No Strings Attached, Ginger Jungle and has done some studio work as well. When Cher isn't performing, she is raising her amazing daughter, fighting crime and training circus midgets. Maybe one day- some will come to a show! Stay tuned!

Chuck Torres - Bass

Chuck Torres is the newest member of Jungle Love and we are thrilled to have him.

Chuck started playing piano at age 3. As a teenager, bands like Metallica got him interested in playing guitar.

Chuck started to write and record his own music but in order to do that, he had to learn to play and record his own bass tracks.

In his mid-20s, Chuck joined his first original band as the temporary Bass Player until they found a permanent member where the plan was, he would then move back to lead or rhythm guitar. The band, however, never found their new permanent bass player. This situation is where Chuck found his passion and understanding of the instrument.

Chuck has played with various other projects throughout the Hudson Valley over the years and Jungle Love is grateful he has found his new home.

Drummer - Ernie Colon

You might recognize Ernie from a couple Latin bands in The Hudson Valley. Let’s just say......Pocket Fo’ Days!!!
