Cherilyn Ann (Cher), grew up to the sound of her Father's band practicing in the basement and a love of old Soul and Blues music from an early age- ordering Otis Redding cassette tapes out of the back of the TV Guide at 8 years old. Her musical influences include the aforementioned Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Sam Cooke, Janis Joplin, Beth Hart and Ray Charles, just to name a few. Cher didn't find her voice however, until the age of 33 and has since performed in local cover bands like: 305, Four Dogs Playing Poker, No Strings Attached, Ginger Jungle. Cher has done studio/demo work for artists such as Taylor Swift and Steven Tyler. She has also began writing original music which can now be found on all music platforms.
When Cher isn't performing, she is single-handedly raising her amazing daughter and the famous One-Eyed rescue dog, Willie!
Chuck "The Pocket" Torres is the newest member of Jungle Love and we are thrilled to have him. Chuck started playing piano at age 3. As a teenager, bands like Metallica got him interested in playing guitar.
Chuck started to write and record his own music but in order to do that, he had to learn to play and record his own bass tracks.
In his mid-20s, Chuck joined his first original band as the temporary Bass Player until they found a permanent member where the plan was, he would then move back to lead or rhythm guitar. The band, however, never found their new permanent bass player. This situation is where Chuck found his passion and understanding of the instrument.
Chuck has played with various other projects throughout the Hudson Valley over the years and Jungle Love is grateful he has found his new home.
